One of the strengths and underlying principles of the department is to promote and encourage extra-curricular participation in PE.
Alongside the curriculum there runs a rich and exciting extra-curricular programme that is constantly developing and expanding, the opportunities presented in this extra-curricular programme cater for all abilities and levels of competition.
The faculty provides opportunities for competitive situations both inter and intra school, as well as offering a more participation opportunities in a variety of activities. We offer practices and clubs in many activities including the traditional team sports such as football (both girls and boys) netball, badminton, rugby and rounders.
There are also clubs for gymnastics, climbing and trampolining. Alongside this the dept enter in local and regional competitions in many sports
